CTF2M3 - Spill the Blood

634-218

Reports
No alex in playerlist *WARNING* - by NQR Admin

Our usual Spill the Blood map choice. We had some strong teamplay and good rune control / sharing here. VVV put up a good effort at quad and snagged quite a few of them, but we were generally able to cess the quad carrier before he did too much damage. - by American Idiots

CTF5 - Da Ancient War Grounds

346-1025

Reports
We made an effort to practice ctf5 with no quad the week leading up to this game. I think we had some pretty good strategy, but at the end of the day flag carrier battles turn into a glorified endif midair game which are pretty tough to win with 120ms. That said VVV kept constant pressure on our flag and played some good defense too. Well played, gg. - by American Idiots

CTF2M1 - Mckinley Station

665-320

Reports
We don't really like ctf2m1 and rarely play it in NA. That said there was a strange feeling of confidence coming into this game having bested the Swedish team twice on this map an hour earlier in a friendly game. I believe this was the first time we ever played this without powerups so strategy was a bit up in the air to start. We got off to a pretty good start and had built up a solid lead while keeping the res rune under wraps. Then blood dog had one of his usual crashes. We basically only had 2 players for a small period of time cause one guy waited for blood to time out to grab his res rune. VVV took momentum and were able to chain some captures together to make the game interesting again. At some point unex dropped and was replaced by caes. We were able to take advantage of the small window of 3on4 play and pretty much sealed the deal by regaining most of the captures lost while blood was out. GGs VVV - by American Idiots

Well played by NA, they were the better overal team during the match. Goes to show you cannt expect to play elite ctf without ever praccing or playing ctf once in a while. Our mistake.
