I really enjoyed the E3M6-game, especially the last capture that sealed the deal for VVV. As close as they come ;) GG

e3m6 showed that it's all about capturing the flag with Hell having like an average of 65% efficiency on frags, but still losing the game.
Great game to watch tho!

Hehe, what can I say? Had 97% efficiency but we couldnt find VVVs flaggcarrier who was sneaking around in the corners of blue base. The last capture VVV did was son lucky it just can it. But, thats the fun with ctf.: )

Shining I don't feel like i've seen a lot of lucky captures. I watched the Hell flagrunners most and they were constantly under great pressure and since they didn't have runes they were all killed pretty easy. The fact that vvv managed to kill Hell fc's faster then you managed to kill their fc was decisive:)
The main reason for it was that you always ran of with res when you got hit a few times (which i can understand) and vvv just went kamikaze on the Hell fc which worked a lot better it seemed.
Don't know for sure, but I'm just trying to figure out why vvv won while they were greatly outfragged and imo it wasn't luck:)

Ye VVV played excellent, but the last capture the got was in my eyes kind of lucky. But our TP dident work and they always protected their FC good. Creature had a hard time defending our base when VVV always attacked with two or three guys. But, I should have been able to get out more of res. I just played a little to covardly, than I should have. But all creeds to VVV, they played excellent.

Ok:)
Defending blue base is a pain in the ass. To do it any good you will need dd, but then it's still a pain in the ass. 1 attacker can be dealt with, but 2 is practically impossible.
But both bases have their advantages.

e3m6 was indeed one 'hell' of a game :). The fact that hell was able to hold onto dd and res for so long made it sooo much harder for us to kill nmi fc's and take over their base. Lol when we finally got dd to our base, hell just took our base over and started camping there!

I had a few lucky returns, spawning next to fc and getting my hook into his ass, or sg'ing him from a distance guessing he was low on health worked both times.

This was what its all about, ctf how it should be played and a very very close game which makes it fun to watch for hell, vvv and the specs.

gg's hell!

Rage - 213.136.25.*** 2005-02-23 08:29:00
Nope Romeo, the server was full all the time.
I asked purity to connect via proxy so i could watch the game.
Sorry for not spamming it on irc:(
