E1M2 - Castle of the Damned

109-145

Reports
We decided to go with E1M2 this time since we did so poorly on DM2 our last round, and despite the relatively close score I think we had this one in our bag for the better part of the game. The last 5 minutes were purely AG's, but up 'til then we held the YA/GL area secure and did most of the quad running. What more to say? E1M2 being E1M2, anything can happen anytime, and the map did have some quick turn and turnabouts. Other than that, ermac was the one holding us up throughout the whole game, griffin there to cover for him when he couldn't :) /dak - by Griffin's Tappra Gossar

CMT4 - Andromeda Nine (CMT Version)

134-91

Reports
Well, I must say I did not expect to stand a chance against AG on cmt4. Their reputation on the map preceeds them, and it showed early. For the first 10 minutes the game was a star-spangled banner with stars over the heads of every GTG player - I honestly don't think we got a quad besides the first one. After those first 10 mins were over however, we started getting warm, and we started running the quad. In the end, the game turned out to be too short to catch up the score, and AG secured the equalizer to force a decider. /dak - by Griffin's Tappra Gossar

DM3 - The Abandoned Base

82-161

Reports
Despite AG getting the first pent and RL, they lost the first one to our shaftguy with mega and the second to the RL/RA guy that shaftguy turned into - quad got picked up and we locked down the map early. Packs were spread over and we had 4 RLs before even 2 mins had passed! Fast and intense start from us on DM3, someone check if pigs are flying and hell is freezing over. Anyway, through some teamwork AG fought back and got us tumbling for a while right before the third pent. They were there in force - 2 RLs and a shaft keeping us at bay. The zerker in the team (me) jumped out with my pimped up 200/100 rl - and, of course, died - but griffin came right behind me and swooped up the pent to secure the map for us yet again. After that it was relatively smooth sailing for the rest of the round as we had a secure 100 frag lead to slowspawn and hide through. We eventually settled into waiting out the clock with a few minutes to go. GG's AG! /dak - by Griffin's Tappra Gossar
