slackers 1 ping advantage replay with minpings pls Seriously though, LA seemed kinda "eh whatever" on this game, they didn't seem to be practicing at all, not really taking it seriously. Still, LA played okay and SR played very well. Very disappointing to see SR take e1m2 like that tho :(

Goljat's lavajump on dm2 in bigroom was the highlight of the year. BSing Dag with quad standing on the platform above YA. HAHA well done :)

Paradoks: Some people on the cam said there were 600 spectators, altho i don't know if i can take that serious. DM3 was a thriller and dm2 was great until the last 5 mins. e1m2 was dissapointing as everyone expected more of LA.

gaz (81.103.59.207) 2004-06-07 12:19:38
para: insane counted up people on qizmos in ASE and said there was over 600 people

lib (194.47.63.35) 2004-06-07 20:20:45
SR SURE ARENT FAVOURITES FOR NEXT SEASON

f]sniper (66.218.45.8) 2004-06-07 21:25:13
WP SR! Is this LA's best lineup, out of curiosity?

Goljat (80.221.43.154) 2004-06-07 21:35:48
slime missing

kippo (80.186.140.215) 2004-06-07 22:37:15
gg both teams

Grievre (24.189.165.18) 2004-06-08 01:28:34
Definitely not LA's best lineup - no aKKe. Also, all of LA seemed not at their best (why was dag the low scorer on every map?!). This match was somewhat disappointing, I thought LA would have put up more of a fight :/ On the other hand, SR used their star lineup that has been playing together all season, and all of the last two seasons - for the last couple of years, SR has always been Gamer, Goljat, ParadokS and hib, with the occasional substitution of Xalibur and some rare appearances by the other members. In the end, I think it was the close-knit teamwork which comes from the same 4 guys playing together constantly that won this one for SR. Hopefully LA, or whatever clan comes out of its ashes (in the case that we won't be seeing them again) will learn from this and be a bigger challenge next time.

Grievre (24.189.165.18) 2004-06-08 01:38:14
Btw - based entirely on statistics (probably BS, but just in case you care :)), LA's star lineup would be: dag, rkr, str, slm. Also of note: dag, memil, and nabbe all achieved their lowest frag counts for the season this game :(

xhrl (24.80.51.162) 2004-06-08 04:22:19
i think hib might now leave sr and join ssc. being that he already plays ctf with them, I could see hib enjoying his time with the fun bunch in SSC even in tdm. I mean many players get to point where all they want to do is go back to the early times and just play fun, less-intensely competitive games. may be hib will dig such a scene in SSC in tdm? If so, then sr without hib might just disband. I have no insight into this, but they would clearly go out on top much as FF did a few years ago.

Grievre (81.226.74.163) 2004-06-08 10:43:56
Dag has been playing alot of ctf with slime and space. striker has been playing CS. me and shiva have played some 2on2. other then that we havent played at all since tVS game. we just cant find anything to prac vs anyway. i guess we could done better but everyone was lazy and had something else to do. but i think SR didnt prac that much either.

riker (81.226.74.163) 2004-06-08 10:46:07
was supposed to be TO Grievre not that he wrote it

hmbl (212.151.12.95) 2004-06-08 11:09:54
nabbe played like 2 maps or so this season and he sucked to beside the dm3 game . wp Sr!

dakoth (213.113.123.42) 2004-06-08 11:24:57
Riker is right, SR wasn't on their best day either; both teams were slightly rusty imo. Mistakes (on both sides) were a bit too plentiful for a div1 finals game. But hey, it was still four good games and entertaining to watch :)

Goljat (80.221.43.154) 2004-06-08 11:39:41
is ctf scene alive? or just 10clans?

Rage (213.10.218.151) 2004-06-08 14:04:52
just 10 clans. But if everyone thinks....uh only 10 clans there won't be more. So just play some ctf start a clan with some people and make it 11, the more people to join the more will follow

Hagge (217.210.145.136) 2004-06-10 11:49:22
if hib leaves sr I will join them so don't worry ppl!

romeo (213.67.66.131) 2004-06-18 19:56:12
actually Goljat, it's 17 teams in the ctf-league right now, with a few ctf-clans (until now playing ra3) coming back for season 2!

Haha (80.222.68.108) 2004-09-24 14:08:57
