well i see 1st vs last one and so forth as a natural system :) if its an amount of 8 teams for example.. then 1vs8 2vs7 etc..and then 1/8 vs 4/5, 2/7 vs 3/6 .. and tb3 is never a wrong choice for playoff! but cmt4 and e2m2 is ok :) but NOT if u are gonna exchange them for new maps next season as it has been done all the time.. |

razor what you talking about gold playoff format is already decided, its top15 div1 and top9 div2 in playoff, 1-8 div1 get bye to 2nd round of playoffs, oi guess cos there is only 14 in div1 that 10 div2 will be in not 9 but nehhehe, who knows. playoffs are all 5 nqr maps no tb3 bullshit, everyone knows the score. thats how its gona be and if nqr crew changes their promises from season start i will executet them all. ha. |

yep thats kind of obvious but the earlier tree wasnt like that. it also featured wrong teams in the different brances;like 1vs4,5vs8 on one side instead of 1vs8 4vs5. zzz well its not like its complicated for one with reasonable skill. |

I would rather spectate a tb3 final, i cant imagine me to enjoy a decider e2m2tdm. gameplay/teamplay isnt half as evolved as on tb3, lots of games seems totaly random and depend on mapknowledge and individual skills. Kenyamaps might be good enough for gameplay during season, tho during playoffs we wanna se exciting games from the best Teams, i think tb3 is far superior in that case. TB3 for playoffs / manu |

vlad there is no div1 playoffs, there is gold cup with div2 clans also. Out of 24 clans I'd guess minimum 6 will have custom homemap, unfair to change rules mid-season and not allow them their homemaps |

i am glad that there will be more maps in the playoffs this season, even if personally i am not a big fan of one in the pool; it will make for more variables in how a whole match gets played out, hence making the playoffs more tense and less straight-forward. gl to all teams as this season closes. |

Horatio you know TB4 stands for "The Big Four" right? As in "The most played and accepted maps". E2M2TDM is not yet accepted by the community and probably never will be. I look forward to the next season and learning a new map, hope they chose a good one! Wouldn't mind if it was CMT3, that is another map not similiar to any of the others in the map-pool right now. More variation is what the qw-scene needs. |

strife: are you slightly retared? what you call "the big four" would have included any fourth map really. Since nqr forces clans to have a small map pool, one out of the two extra clans will naturally be played more than the other, therefore resulting in "the big four". even if you had the shittiest maps ever :). |

naw that logic doesn't hold because cmt4 -- which i think he's referring to -- proved its popularity even when quite a few other maps were offered. accordingly cmt4 has risen up because of the fact some actually like it, while others have put up with it over and above other options. the reasons why some clans "put up with it" over other options seem to vary greatly....some find it easier to learn, others like the spacing, still others that they were familiar with it. But this is of no account, for what really matters is that the map has given us some very good close games, and the majority of players tend to tolerant it or even prefer over other non-tb3 options; and all this has worked itself out well before nqr6. e3m7 and cmt 3 seem to me to be similar in this regard....though not as well tolerated as cmt 4. |
