Sadly, the NQR Crew has to announce that the clan SuddenDeath and the player Nussi (registered with AntiQuad) are no longer allowed to participate in NQR9.
The reason for this is that Nussi faked as Sassa in SD's game against LegeArtis.
SD have stated many reasons as to why they went ahead with this, but none of these excuses forgive the fact that they broke one of NQR's most important rules.
SD have finished their group games, but will not be allowed to participate in the 'amateur' playoffs. They will be permitted to play in the next season of NQR.
The Crew hopes that the community will join with us by not condoning fakenicking, whatever the reason for it, and that the right-minded members of the QW scene support this decision. It is not a decision we have taken lightly, and hope that it will serve as a warning to any clans or players that have ideas of acting in a similar way in the future.

we went public on the server with "nussi for sassa" and la didn't
stand out against it, and considering the amount of spectators it was nothing we
tried to hide. And the chance for one of them beeing an admin was high.
But
from our eyes it was a compromise to play. We were finally 4 again after some
idletime, and heard that this was the last date before wo, so why not play it if
"the mob" + LegeArtis doesn't oppose to the fact that we took in nussi? nussi is
after all one of our members, though it's not written in stone @
nqr-site.

as long as you don't play in two clans at once! Afaik no one has discovered
Marvel (for example) playing under a different nickname in a different clan in
EQL.
It's a whole different thing to play under a dummy nick than to
fakenick as _someone_else_, although i agree that changing your nickname for

I feel i need to respond to these conspiracy theories "admins told LA to report
so they could kick SD out" which is very far from the truth. Im assuming ok98
refers to me and of course i know Empezar is. I talked priv with mutilator about
the issue and he asked me if the game was "invalid" cause of all this and i
responded that i had no idea (im a fairly new admin, i haven't dealt with this
kind of issues before) so i simply told him to report as usual (why wouldnt
they?) so all admins could take a stand on the matter. I also told him, as gaz
has pointed out earlier in comments, that a WO was unlikely since there still
was a week to go. I have a feeling that this has been heavily distorted
somewhere along the line. We did not enjoy kicking SD out, we have few enough
clans left in amateur playoffs as it is.

I guess that all this fuzz is all about when to consider the game an actual NQR
game. If the game is considered to be NQR for real at the point when it is
submitted to the website then the admins could've told the players that it was
an invalid game before they submitted it. LA they could've let it stay
unsubmitted and everything would've been fine for SD, right?
