Our first match of the season began with the unfortunate map choice of e2m2 by SSC. They wanted to play without the Quad, but even after the map I am unable to tell if that decision makes the map better or even worse :). Anyway, we took the blue base because we like to have a RL once in a while. The game was quite chaotic but our new player Apollyon (not unknown to the european qw scene, I assume) played a good defense which made it possible for us to get a distinctive lead after the first five minutes, which had been rather close. During the second half of the map SSC was able to camp our base for some minutes and close the gap a bit. But we came back and made some more captures and in the end SSC decided to play the last couple of minutes more defensively to secure their score difference. - by qw.ger

On our map choice (CTF5) the Quad was active again and we were able to control it and most of the map for quite some time. SSC seemed to have the better runes management (or maybe they were just lucky?) and therefore were able to apply some pressure during the 2nd half which lead to them getting more Quads and some captures. But all in all this was our map and SSC could not do enough to question that. ;) We thank SSC for a nice sunday evening match and for being patient while we had to wait on our 4th player. Those poor grapplers are always fun to watch and the tactics are totally different then div1.

First ctf-match ever for me, it was gg..
Don't know anything about runes, I had only my hook-alias in my cfg and didn't even know (and still don't know) where the quad was in ctf5 :ee
