| This game should have been played latest last week. The teams have scheduled the game once but LA didn't appear. SR have tryed after that to get the game going, and I have also been talking with LA to contact SR to set a new date last week, but that obviously never happend. Catch up week is for teams were both agree to play, and that isn't the case here I'm afraid. Sad but true. |

| I dont understand why Paradoks would pull a stunt like this so early after the last headlines. He must be fully aware that this is one of the games that cannot, i repeat _CANNOT_, be determined by WO, and the reactions from all the qw lovers about missing this game. Since we cant know who asked who when, i suggest you just follow the rules and let this game be up to chances or played in last week. | the way the system is build, makes it kinda hard. If a clan dont wanna schedule what can u do. we already talked to admins, to force la to scehdule but they ignored that. I dont see why la should just do as they pleased with no respect for the league. they should follow the flow like everyone else. They have had players and been active for the past weeks so there was no excuse. whine to them why they didnt schedule. and btw if the match did get voided and go into catchup week noone would have right to claim walkover, and they could simply refuse to play - like they did for some weeks now. And no, coming into a channel and screaming "NQR NOW!?!?" isn't considered an attempt to schedule. Lame mentaility growing in NQR from clans and players that just wanna go against anything just to make an upset. Fuck the rules, fuck the admins, fuck the other clans.. lets just do what we want, when we want. If clans do a simple gesture of trying to schedule a game or note the other clans when they before hand decide not to show up for shceduled games.. then what are they doing here? The system is made so clans can handle schedules in own regi without admin interferrence. The deadlines are very long so only reason why they wouldn't be kept is cause of inactivity or unwillingness. Neither of these 2 reasons should be valid for a top clan. Maybe div1 clans just require more strict guidelines and admins that can cut through. This has been an issue since the first smackdown. I look forward to the first tournament that take initiative for steady play days and time scehdules so every clan knows when to play. |

I'm of the opinion that WO shouldn't even exist; if the clans can't come up with a time when they both can play then don't give either of them points. They have obviously both been trying. la never tried to schedule this game, u only came to slackers few times screaming "NQR NOW??" Anyway we never said we didnt want a game, we just wanted to know WHEN to play, but even that you couldnt handle. Didn'twanna loose chance to get points from thisn game, cause u refuse to play. We have lots of nqr this week included FS on thursday. After that, if it's convinient for lege artis, we can scehdule the game. Preferebly a date/time where you actually know you can play. |

| well i don't know everything that has gone on obviously, but I do know that SR made attempts to schedule this game. It's a week2 game, so LA should have been on the money in trying to schedule a date and time to play by now. Maybe this WO will be a wakeup call to those clans that view the schedule as nothing more than an inconvienience, rather than an integral part of the league structure. |

Unfortunately i am not at liberty to discuss details, but it is not as clear cut a scenario as you suggest.
I will just beg to differ on your view of the past. For it seems to me there were just as many lameass things going on then, if not more so because of the size of the scene; but equally there may have been more honour, too, for the same reason. I guess it depends on one's experience and pov.

| i think the problem is how different clans feel about playing. some play for fun, while others want to win really bad. right now theres a lot of backtalking and stuff going on, and though some players (like paradoks) certainly could do without it, i think its important to understand that this sense of rivalry is part of the fun for many other players. being mature has nothing to do with it. belonging to a "clan" and standing up for your friends even though you might not agree with them - has everything to do with it.
right now the qw scene bears more resemblance to professional wrestling than a sport like say- hockey, or soccer. well that's enough of an analysis for now :) play the game. |

| GG HIXEN, True old school spirit. I understand para and the other admins want rules to be followed, with so many divisions this is a must, but setting an example with the two top clans that everyone wants to watch is not good. Now that it's decided why don't play the match anyway, im sure the LA guys are quite eager to spank some SR ass like they did in Flaming Fist (dag and legend MVS-AKKE :)
And it's a good chance for the SR guys to show that they have control over their heads with all the outside pressure. Best of 10 maps makes it LOL for all us n00bs out there dying to see a killer game. So Para, get of your tuborg-fuel'd horse and give LA a match to remember.
