DM3 - The Abandoned Base

Kala played extremely well at the start of DM3. They got the first RL and Pent, whereas we got ring and quad. They had a tight control over the weapons, not letting us get any provisions to stock up and attempt a takeover with. The 15 minute pent went kala's way without much resistance offered from our side. We needed something extra; and through a joint effort, and with a good chunk of luck, griffin was able to get the 10 minute pent with just 13 health left. Phew! Finally, we had a chance of getting control. But kala had a good lead on us; 70 frags in 10 minutes on dm3 against a team like kala is no sunday walk in the park. We couldn't afford to make any mistakes now. We kept running the Quad, pushing kala hard on all fronts, racking those frags up as fast as we possibly could. Right before the 5 minute pent however, things got nasty. Griffin got telefragged at sng/tele right as I myself died, backstabbed by a sng right after I took out an RL from lifts. The 5 minute pent had kala written all over it, and we can call ourselves lucky that we got away with it. After severe fighting, ermac came through water to pick up 2 borepacks right as pent spawned, reigning the map back into control as our last RL. With 2 minutes left, the game was tied and kala made their final stand at YA. Our quadder was able to take out 2 of the 3 rls bunkered there, alas one dropped a pack that he respawned right away. By this time, quad was over, so he had to flee. But it was enough; we took it home by a hairthin margin, mostly due to that 5 minute pent going our way. DM3s don't come much better than this! Well, after that DM3 we figured we could loose this E1M2 and still be proud of the game, but we weren't about to roll over just 'cus of that. They got the first RL, shortly thereafter rushed and br?sted ala gtg. We got the next two RLs and lockdown of YA ensued. We hardly let them get close to it with a weapon after that. They did have a period where they had YA control about halfway through the map; it was short and they weren't able to take every Quad, and ultimately paid the price for it. omg.. kala lost and no playoffs spot for them now :(:( guess they missed superstars like ebloz and asp in this game and that's why they lost! :(

Kala have a 50% efficiency when asp plays. Kala have a 0% efficiency when asp does not play. ASP WHERE R U WHEN WE NEED U THE MOST??? anyway GGs GTG, I think e1m2 might have been a bit more even with some other kala-lineup 8<
