Woah, close game! Despite freedom getting a fullstart minus ring and lg they didn't manage to lock down RA very good. We kept sneaking every other or every third away, and their quads weren't able to root out our weaponry. But they grasped a firm lead in the first 5 minutes of the game and could safely pluck home the first pent without us being able to do much about it. But for some reason, a minute later, they give UL a quad with RL. Dumb. No, worse than dumb. RA safe for us, and we suddenly had an advantage to exploit. The map was in no-mans-land for the next couple of minutes until the 10 minute pent is about to spawn, where we actually loose the fight for the pent, but a sneaky ermac drops down from lifts and picks it up right in front of a stunned freedom crew. Now it was a race against the clock, all the way down to the bell. Despite freedom being able to do a well-coordinated SGx4 drop on the last pent and steal it away, they weren't able to produce anything with it and with 30 sec to go griffin clears up the last couple of frags with some bondeskills and quad. Though we got quad via trick and he got rl due to a sg fight at telly, their first lower rl managed to take him out before he managed to get an armor. Bad for us, since it gave freedom a chance to lock down the map. Something they managed fairly well for the first couple of minutes. But then they kept giving UL rls, and that just ain't too bright on DM2. The inevitable eventually happens, he picks up a quad, and game over Freedom. We kept the map relatively under control (though it was tight) until there was 5 minutes left when freedom crew did a nice takeover and got their chance for a catchup. Alas, we kept low safe and most of the RLs went our way, and when their last quad died with 30 sec to go we breezed into the finish line with a 10 frag secure lead. Close games both of them!
