Finally, our misfortunes regarding dm2 spawns have come to an end (*knocks on wood*). I think we got both the high (pack) and low (spawn) RLs, but fu stole the quad with a trick that didn't live long enough to screw things up for us. We kept them on the lower part of the map for most of the game, passing 100 frags before they were ever close to quad. When they finally started turning the table about to get some frags, it was way too late to make a difference. /dak - by Griffin's Tappra Gossar

We started well, got the first 2 RLs, kept YA mostly safe, and let the HPW kick everyone's ass while we just spawnfragged. Sadly, Anza (unless I'm mistaken on who is "A"), had been lagging and dropped some 10 seconds prior to the end of the game. His complete lagtime (when he couldn't move) was twofold - the first time he lost a GL and was left standing at spawns for 2 minutes, dying ~10-15 times to enemies and twice to teammates. The second time he lost another GL and was left standing for about 30 seconds to die ~5 times more. We really didn't want this to turn into a ping game, as it was fin-swe, and when FU suggested the Z server after dm2 we pointed out that they were already averaging lower than us on BBB. I'm very sorry about Anza's lag, but I don't think it really changed the outcome of the game that dramatically, as at the time of his first lag we were already leading the game by a relatively big amount. /dak - by Griffin's Tappra Gossar
