This match was originally supposed to be played on sunday of the 5th gameweek (sun 9th), but the ard guys told us that the normal lan place they play from is unavailable and that they can't play the match before saturday the 15th. A little pissed by the two walkovers they already had claimed during the league I then claimed for a wo over this one, a wo which was approved by the admins earllier tonight (monday 10th). After the wo was approved things started happening at downtown Russia. Some guy called `swat told me @ 22cet in irc that although it's midnight in Russia they've decided to send guys over to some (other?) netcafe to play the match right away (obviously they got a little frightened of the wo). Well, luckily we had enuf players around to get the game over with. After entering the russian server one thing made me wonder. Their players didn't have equal pings, not even close. And when I asked how can they have so different pings from the same netcafe they told me that they're not playing from a netcafe, d'oh. So this `swat guy was obviously shitting me, dunno why. Anyway, onto the round. The screenshot is a bit distracting because the server started lagging about 1min30secs before the end, when we had a nice 60 frag lead. The first 18? minutes the server was just great giving quite equal pings to both teams. The round itself was a quite peaceful one, we mostly controlled the ra area and got the powerups (quads 14-6, pentas 3-1), while they did ...something at the ya area. Although we had a nice control over ra/quad we didn't manage to frag that big a lead, maybe the enemy just plyed smart. They fought bravely. / JKova - by El?intarha

After the lag issues of round1, the match was moved to a Z Team server. Even though we had a clear ping advantage, dm3 was a one-clan show. There was never any question of who would win the map, the only excitement here was regarding fragrank ;) /menth0l - by El?intarha

Sooooo the decider. I was expecting to get spawnraped for 20 minutes after Armageddons blinding display on dm3. We got the map under control right at the start, and held it for a good while, with T-Moe running the early quads. Even though we had control over the tele/quad side, we didn't manage to build a huge lead during our long(ish) perioid in the drivers seat. Then it all happened. Within approximately 10 seconds Armageddon killed every RL we had and put the clamps on like nobodys business. They spawnraped us for a good while, cathing up the lead we had so painstakingly built. I still have no idea how we eventually got the tele back in our hands, but somehow we found ourselves back in control and back in the lead. Exhilerating game, GGs to Armageddon.
