Yes, MP would probably have won e1m2 if clox had played. I was up for a rematch but my teammates were not as positive. |

creds to emp for understanding of our situation and being willing to rematch e1m2 - and for excellent playing (was emp born at e3m7?)! For the less understanding fnu:s i quote nqr rules: "Please remember what the game is about, having a good time. Quake is a gentlemans sport you know! " |

What was the reason anyway? He said that someone was at his door and was away for the rest of the game kinda. Am I less understanding just because I didnt want a rematch? I think that [mp] should have asked us to break the game right away instead of waiting until we all got back to irc, that would have spared us from this discussion. |

Agreed with dur, and another solution to problems like that would be to have yet another player on the specatorlist armed and ready to replace the inactive player.
Think about that for a while and stop declaring us to be less understanding and bad sportsmen. |

I didn't play in the game but I agree with durand. If someone by free will choose to let his team play 3 against 4 in an official tournament I think the problem is his and his teammates, not the clan they happen to play against. We in fnu (all that I know of at least) don't care if we win or lose. Of course a victory is always fun, but we play for fun. So that quote won't affect our view on this issue. I'm really sad whenever an disagreement between people occurs, but sometimes it's unavoidable. I hope we all can move along without hard feelings as the game is only about "having a good time" like you said. |

nah, was my own fault. it wasnt fun to let my teammates down, but i cant blame fnu for not wanting a rematch. they did well in the game, gg's and good luck. |

dur - GaYa did vote for break but none of you agreed to it. And it is less understanding not to agree to a rematch, but the rules is on your side so...

we had a player greased and ready to go on spectatorspot (me), but due to the urgent nature of clox irl situation he did not drop from game. Gaya did call for break, and i tried to point at the situation by changing nick... also im sure that fnu did notice that clox was afk but rather saw a chance to get cheap frags.. anyway, its all history now. For further comments i quote the mighty Arnie: "Talk to the hand" |
