The eagerly awaited Gold Cup Final is to be on Sunday June 6th. The exact time is still to be worked out. Rumours abound about some players working, others being away on holidays, etc.. But we are pleased to see this match has been set as far as the actual day goes. Stay tuned for more information regarding the time and cam ips etc. as we get this battle arranged even more. The June 6th date should benefit both clans as regards pre-match preparation and practising. This year the Gold Final should be a serious head-knocker, perhaps we may even see juanito_bandito and the pink_vagina hudman in action. As admins we wish all strength and honour to both of these talented squads as they prepare for this much anticipated match!

@insane: could you imagine just how irate the remaining clans would be if that suggestion were acted on? hehe, personally I think a best of 5 is intense enough for the players. iirc it was in sd that we first saw best of 5 semis/finals matches and i think there is a lot of wisdom in keeping it to a maximum of 1h 40min of quake. If it were to be a possible 2h 20min in the finals, then I think that should be requested by the players for a future season of nqr. There is no question I find the idea of a best of 7 in the finals quite exciting for the spectators. But wouldn't it be too much for the players? At any rate, such an initative should come from the players themselves, for it would be a huge change to the way we have viewed qwtdm finals since the dawn of smackdown. |

I don't know the nicknames you mentioned and probably so do most readers who don't know who plays in the finals in first place. I agree with whyz, your articles are generally good, but please at least say what NEEDS to be said ;) |
