 147-219 Well, we didn't expect Slackers to pick cmt4 as their map, but they played very well on it (as expected). The start was in SR's favor, leaving us nothing except for RA/RL/LG. Their pent manages to get second square-rl, and by the time of second quad they had double RLs. If they were missing something on the map it was their coordination on Quad. At times they were there in force - almost too much force - but sometimes they never came. Those mistakes were what we tried to exploit to steal some frags and retake the lead. Despite getting half the quads, SR were just too strong at the pent (3-1) and held onto YA for much too long periods, nearly taking twice as many as us.  254-215 With Slackers taking home the first map, we felt the pressure. Our map, E1M2, wasn't all roses - the knife was on our throat, and we felt it. UL didn't feel like playing, so I replaced him and did a lousy job at it. Luckily, James Bonde and his loyal sidekick Bonde JR covered the slack marvelously. Just like against Kala, we had to fight from behind, and for the longest time I didn't think we'd make it. Not until the final minute or two did it feel safe enough to breathe a sigh of relief.  209-138 With E1M2 taken care of, there was a short debate about who actually picked their map first, followed by SR removing DM2 and us removing DM3. Once again we were stuck with a CMT map as decider, and just like last time this really felt like a cointoss. We got lucky, virtually fullspawning the map, and getting the control from the start. That wasn't to say it was easy though - SR kept getting weapons, YA's and pushing hard on RA - but with 17 out of 20 quads going our way, and 3/4 rings and pents, as well as nearly twice as many RA's, the outcome was inevitable.
