game report:
cw started at 21:00 on e1m2 (1st attempt - dqm's
map)...
after like 4 min one of their players timed out and we kept on playing
according
to the rules, after we didnt break all of the other players except ckr
dropped 1
min later and said we should take a WO.
at first we didnt
want to
replay the map because we were rather upset about how they had
behaved, but
eventually they talked us into it...
so 22:15 (e1m2 - 2nd
attempt),
they subbed in xebb for hrz (their player that dropped) and we
actually played
the game. we dominated it from start to finish and got little
resistence except
from jrp who effectively racked up frags always keeping one part of
the map
under dqm control.
we then voted cmt4 and lego dropped so
effectively
the gave us a WO for our homemap.
to sum it up, a great
evening of
fun :)

very sad... ckr putting up a nice effort to get the game replayed and
then one
of his players calls it a night after the first map... dramatic for
everyone to
say the least.
JrP was HOT on that 2nd e1m2... even teaming
up on him
was futile :) |

some clarifications:
hrz had computer-issues that made him
time out as
soon as the match started; something clashes with linux and
qw.
almost
an hour later, dqm were able to get a hold of xbb, thus making it four
players
ready to go.
unfortunatley, this was not the end of it.
after the
first map lgos girlfriend sprained her ankle (or something like that)
making it
a priority for lgo to drive her to the emergency, thus making it 3on4
once
again. and since i was at work and jii was not answering, dqm decided
to leave a
default loss on the next round.
a stream of bad luck caused
us to mess
up this game. and since this was the deadline and BE were not able to
play this
game later on, we had to force it or they would have demanded WO
anyway.
if there is any chance of replaying this in pickup-week we
would
gladly take it, but as for now we have to live with the default loss. |
