don't worry rot. we lost to both cmt and eid, meaning that with the same amount of points and the same mapdifferential, the meetings between our teams seeds us at fifth place. we made our own bed and now we have to lay in it :D

I figured i'd write a short match report, since this game actually had some importance for the playoffs :) the situation before this game was that EID needed to take a map from us to reach 4th place and subsequently steal DQM their playoff birth :o

e1m2 (Be's choice): It was no secret to them that we would probably take that map and so they seemed better prepared than in some of their last losses on e1m2. We still dominated YA 80% of the game, collecting 4 ya's for every ya they got, pretty much cruising to victory here, while they played a rather defensive game.

dm2 (EID's choice): Having the god of luck on our side as usual, EID got the fullstart of their dreams and raced to a quick 55-10 lead. At this point we were able to retake the map completely and starting putting the hurt on EID, gaining a 80 frag lead. We pretty much thought we had this one in the bag at the 10 minute mark, but some sloppy mistakes let EID eventually tool up and retake the map 7 minutes before the end. At this point we decided to camp it home at low rl, but apparently we weren't very effective doing so (see score :o). LBN's quadruns were nothing short of brutal and we didn't get the stops we needed to bring home our lead.

so decider time \o/ EID threw dm3, while we tossed cmt4...so on to:

cmt3 (decider): At this point one might think, this map wasn't of any importance anymore, because EID had gotten what they wanted by winning their one map. But this game still was crucial for us to secure 1st place in the division and EID being drunk on power after winning dm2 (:p) were shooting for the stars to win this one as well and finish 3rd in the division ahead of CMT. Both teams came out with their guns blazing and the game was tied at 25 a piece after the first few minutes. The next minute eventually decided the game when we were able to kill off all their rl's and when the dust settled we found ourselves in a comfortable 70 frag lead. At this point we pretty much had broken EID's confidence on the map and we camped home the win for the last 15 minutes with only minor disturbances.

anyways, it was a great clanwar and imho EID earned their spot in the playoffs from point of view, congratulations and gl vs 3tk. I feel kind of sorry for DQM that they were so unlucky to be placed in div4b, while they probably would have made the playoffs in div4a.

dm2 was intense and i still have no clue howe lost control and how we actually regained it.

omg *blu* *lbn* *sinner* *tanker* \o/

Heh, div4a was like piece of cake to be in the playoffs, only sm and 3tk are a threat (3tk is misplaced). But on the other hand, div4b was just supperb fight for playoff spots this season. I`m really happy now :) despite we gonna get seriously spanked in our first playoff round :>
