(gaz) ... our map. np, we never lose dm3, right? wrong! minutes before match start we were rocked by the withdrawal of our star player lunna. anyway we got our typical osams tur start, getting all powerups and RL. things didn't go too well though as I (with pent, 2nd rl) ran out of rockets and had to run away from 2nd quad, and manny died with the RL. control of RA was largely in a2k's hands but it swung back and forth throughout the game. the key moment came just before last pent, when we had a couple of RLs and they had less. i was fighting some a2k guys at pent, killed 1 RL and a shaft guy, and then bored 1mm away from the pent. when i died i was on my side staring at my rl pack and the pent spinning on its spot, then i saw the a2k guy take both. fuck :) really fun game anyway, gg - by osams

(gaz) ... we got the better start and held RA etc for about 13 minutes, then kauka decided to run away from RA for no apparent reason. sae jumped up from below with RL and the map spun round. the chase was on, as they say. anyway this map is ideal for defending a lead cos there are many hiding places and plenty of water for discharging against enemy attacks... so we took advantage of these strategic nooks and crannies to fend off the a2k infidels... toit like a toiger. - by osams

(gaz) ... it's traditional in a2k-os games that a2k get the unlucky break before the final map and they got it again, losing the random thing. they threw dm2, which was the map we wanted to play, so they did well there :P we had an internal vote and went with e1m2 as we'd beaten them in SD earlier in the week here. as with dm3, control swung back and forth, with neither side ever able to clear out the enemy team at any point. with 2 mins left, a2k took quad, and after a mix up between kauka and xtalon at YA (both with RL), they were both killed and a2k pulled ahead by about 5 frags. in the closing moments we had the RLs back again and fragged as best we could, but the clock ran out on us. really fun game, crazily intense and high-paced, just like qw should be. gg :D - by osams

i was more laggy than the screens show (except on the last map when it got a little better :E).. there are 2 servers i hate: qw.nl & wargamez.. and thats where we play the most :D anyway, ggs to a2k for being the better team

heh, total score was 489-486 with osams being the highest fragging team. Guess we were lucky to get the important frags. Some close and exciting games - well played.
