In division 1 Scandinavian super clan Slackers took their second victim in equal many fights. The NQR4 championship contenders took a smooth 2-0 victory vs the Finnish clan AntiQuad. AQ fought well on dm3, but gave away over 300 frags on e1m2, making it a little more painful to themselves than necessary, we suspect.
In division 3 the Norwegian clan FUDOH made their NQR debut vs the surprisingly strong EU clan Cobots, who made a good performance vs GTG in their first game. Was that a fluke? No it was not, Cobots showed strength again by taking it home 2-0 on dm2 and e1m2, whit strong and safe performances on both maps, leaving no chance for the Norwegians. We suspect the oldies from Norway to get in better shape after some games though, they got a lot more to give. Cobots is now alone at the top of the table, 1 point ahead of EarthQuake from Sweden.
Division 6 has now only one clan that have not got started with their NQR4 campaign, after 3 more games in the division tonight. Hell Patrol from Poland and OLW from Sweden both made their debuts facing each other off. OLW won it without any big problems, Hell Patrol could only put up some resistance at their map of choice; dm2. OLW chose e3m3 and that was a _very_ one sited game. 2-0 and 3 points to the Swedes. Finnish clan Thangorodrim managed to get 2 games played today, that is, if you want to call those games. French clan Mais Quad Bordel, who apparently has switched from CPMA to QW (correct us if we are wrong), and the Swede clan St?l-Kalle Klanen, both got messed up pretty bad by the team from the thousand lakes. I think someone may want to say MERDE to that one. Thangorodrim made it 2-0 in both games without breaking a sweat and are now at the top of the table with 9 points in 3 games with a +1926 frag balance...
...which brings us up to the next point. Yes, apparently this clan has been placed in the wrong division, but we can?t do anything about that now. Before the season started, about 60 % of the clans were not known very well, or not at all, to the general QW scene. This made it a hell of job for us admins in our research job to put all clans in the correct division. At the same time, so many clans where SOOO afraid of being placed in a wrong division, they rather wanted to be placed in a lower division, than a higher one, more fun to win than loose, as always. Some wishes and request was followed up, some not. Some whined and cried more than others, some did not :) So this was not easy, of course some ppl starts to be smart now, after we have started, after all our work with this. But we are sorry, nothing we can do about that now, in the end we are only humans as well (surprise!).
All we can say is that I think we all can live with these few ?unbalanced mistakes? that might pop up here and there. But to the teams that might meet a much more superior enemy; just relax, it is only a team or two, the rest should be ok. This will anyway be sorted out when the season has ended, because then the best clans in their respective divisions will move up to the next one, and vice versa.

Well, Ronaldo does not go out to try basketball when he becomes world champion in fotball. And then when he finds out that basketball sucks, he comes back...but after the new season has started. That is ONE WAY to destroy a team. And Real Madrid's star players does not either make new fotball teams with their drinking buddies, because they want to take a seasons break with Real Madrid. And star players in Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool does not get together and forms a team just for one season, with new names either. Sorry Horatio, this is a "lame" QW scene...MILES AWAY from the dicipline that exists in sports :-)

Pretty lame thats what all this crying and whining is. All of our players have come back from long brakes. We have lost almost every prac we have played so far and we suppose to start our first NQR season ever at div1? Right. GG! Quake has been out for like 7 years or something? How we suppose
to know that there are brand new clans with beginners in NQR? NQR sound to us: HC Swedes with disciplined TP and we lose big time... So one more reason: better start from the bottom.
Who is this admin with these lame additions to our match report? Who ate ur candy? Stand behind your words and don't go lurking behind anonymous NQR Admin name... It is your fault that the division system sucks from some not ours. Ur the only one crying.
Seems to me that this league is for nerds only and if you don't belong to the club the shitstorm hits you... Realy sad. All we've done is: played and been polite.
btw I don't see you crying around hot that much... Is this Swe vs Fin thing? Hot wins: its like well done and names in the news... :)
Kind of takes the joy out from the whole thing... You want us to quit and keep your private league? :)

It was simply to point out, that AS AN EXAMPLE, your clan was originally put in the wrong division. Your clan is clearly superior to the other teams in that division.
But this will (hopefully) not be a continiously problem (yes its a problem, because its spose to be more or less equal teams in each div), since the system is designed to level out the teams, by skill after each season.
And what he also points out is, that even though there are a few examples like this, in this season, all clans should just do what they do best.... PLAY GAMES, and keep the good spirit alive.
so .... lets do that :)

No, keep playing and win the qualification games later on, or just finnish as top team in div6... As far as i am concerned new teams or teams who had long brakes from qw should start from the bottom. Hopefully next season will be more even and the clans/players will be more well known to the admins.

It is me that wrote it, I dont hide behind nothing. We are an admin crew that decides together. We wanted {T} to play in div. 5, coz our research job suggested they should be in at least div. 5. We are pretty good at what we do, but what does that help when clans almost refuses to play if we dont meet their demands? So if you have to know it; we was right, {T} was wrong, but still we followed your request. But I guess if {T} was loosing 30-300 in every game, YOU WOULD NOT WHINE AT ALL? (sorry about this, but you asked for it). Now lets all be happy and dont whine :-)

Oh, and just as you know, I personally wanted HOT in div.5 too, along with {T}, but other admins did not agree. So no matter if I was right, I listened to other ppl's opinions and choices. What a dumb idiot I am! And the REASON I made the post was not because i am WHINING, lol, it was because other div. 6 players started to whine about teams that was put in wrong divs, so I just wanted to explain why things are as they are. Sorry for being honest and telling the truth about it :|

So far there haven't been any complanes concerning whining after
lost games and we have lost a lot of games e.g. disorder and euthanasia... Well we don't cheer for winners, but we don't whine either :P

Well I think it's inevitable to get clans in wrong division with so many divisions, things haven't gone too badly imo. Only thing I would suggest is that "old sk00l players returning to quake who say they sux and dont play serious and qw is only for nerds and they should be in div6" are generally placed a little too low down. Remember a lot of these guys know the maps perfectly, which some n00b teams don't, and also have general experience of 4on4 even if they aren't megaskilled players anymore, or dont use binds well. The problem is made a bit worse when you get former div1 players like drejfus and psycho_dad playing in clans with relative newbie/weak players, that makes it harder to place them in the correct division. That's not a critisism, they can play for whatever team they like, just a fact. Anyway I think the top3 divisions don't look too bad and hopefully there shouldn't be too many huge rapes in those divisions. I've played quake long enough now that I can accept getting 300 frags stuffed down my throat by the like of cmf, sr and ds.

true ht... but i think we (2b) got the right division sence we just got banged hard by kala 8( - i can say its really hard to play with total-rOOks when they only know the way to rl and stands there for 20mins, and every time they gets rl they goes -> dead and ofcoz they leave a rl pack behind, they dont read report so you have to kill they to get rl yourself 8) - i had to chase lupus(teammate) from low-rl to tele (dm2) just to kill he and get rl. and if u wait at rl with 200 200 they dont care... they stand at the rlspawn, happy and just hope they gets it :), lucky us we just have 2 total-rOOks
