Quakeworld.nu started as a pet project and has been running for about 6 months now with great success. We have been working very hard the last 3 months recoding the site and we now have a solid base to build a really nice Quakeworld community site. You can read about the facelifts and the new features here
QuakeWorld.nu is a site that strifes to be the center for the true quaker. We bring you QW news from all over the world, articles and have a nice forum where our users can speak their mind.
One cannot deny that we are mere voulenteers. We are not professionals and we do not get paid. We have alot of ideas to make the site a better place for those who wish to play and commute with fellow quakers.
We are aware that trying out QW and becoming a part of the QuakeWorld community is not easy at first, and in relation to that we want to make it easier eventually. But we are trying to find a balance of suiting the needs of the current community aswel as taking initiatives for newcomers. It all take resources, but we are confident that with constant development, dedication and commitment we will bring QuakeWorld up to a higher level.

hello nqr admins.. what do you think about gl_shaftcolor (dont remember if that was the command), gl_part_telesplash?
gl_shaftcolor is imao modified shaft.. (why do fat ppl where black cloths instead of white?, yeah.. just to look thinner, nothing else)
why have ppl stared playing with black shafts?
why can I see gl_part_telesplash true some walls and floors.. dosent that help me see where ppl spawn easier? aint that a cheat?
I know, this is whine.. just explain to me why the rules have changed? can we modify our paks again? are the nqr crew supporting this? even how cool fuhquake-gl is, we shouldnt forget that some options/commands do more damage then good, or makes the game uneven between softcore vs opengl players. |

U can see through walls with and without telesplash.. but its more clear with fuhquake effects. Anyway itsbeen fixed now, so its now in the next fuh release which is due in a few days. |

And NO, divisions are not 100% final yet, that's why we have 20+ clans in Div1. There will be probably 7 Division's this season. So we are waiting for Kryten to get us another Division, that's why some "noob" clans are still in Div1.

Some opinions on the division system. Since there is no new post about the division update I'll post here :[.. And I do know it's not final (hopefully).
Fragomatic in div3.. I don't know what they've said about playing there but with no doubt I'd placed them in div1 either they want it or not :>. But I guess you can at least put them in division 2... Rumours say they did beat sr in pracs... Pracs, but still. I'll find out more about that. If they can play that good in real games why are they in div3 and not campbusters? :)
They will absolutely with no doubt (if they're even going to be active) crush all resistance in division 3. Even in division 2 to be honest. I guess they want to have a great time and not take it too seriously but they will not even have Fun in division 3.
Don't like to call Campbusters a div1 clan but when I look at division 2 I see only 4kings (if they play good) who're able to win us without any extra thought. So I guess we're in the right div :[...
Hmm, lornelin in division 5? (Egentillverkade Damm.....)
Civil Disobedience in div6.. Also raised my eyebrows. a little.
Oh well, that was only a short post but it was harder than I thought :>.. Also there are 2 "ancient gods" in div5. (same clan but twice on the list..) at the top.

ETA: And you think that we offcourse are not aware of duplicate clans ? I can tell you it is not an easy task to put clans where they "belong", and some of the clans we preliminary in the divisions did not even have any players regged atm. Wich makes it even harder to judge were they belong, and some doesn't even have an homepage. You make it sound like it's easy ;)....and it's NOT. |

..more divisionwhine: I know it's hard to divide into divisions, but..! FUD2 lost with something like 520-60 frags against OLW in prac(got screens+demo if needed) on two tb3 maps. Abselutely no chance, and now they are placed in div 4 together with.. OLW. If they are to have fun this season, it would be kind of admins to let them play in a more fitting division, and certainly not in div4 together with OLW and "the TF-clan" El?intarha (who beat "fud1" in cmt league). Otherwise no whine. Prepare to die in div2, Hixen and Crazymac <:-] |

I can understand your point Link, but we will not accept such a behavior. Regular sportsmans ship is the unwritten rule here.
If a clan systematically are going to give WO on cmt and exmx-maps we sure won?t just sit and look at it. If a clan participate in this league they shall also show respect for the clans they meet. If someone refuses to play the "other" clans map they don?t belong here. |

We try to listen to all clans/players wishes, some might be legit, some others might not be. We will contact the clans affected by this. To strenghten what Icce said, HELL NO we will not tolarate such lame behavior, concerning the about ToT, now i cannot verify if that statement is true, i guess we will have to contact ToT, and have a talk with them.
