A question concerning player transfers from Clan ZAK. They play in div 3a and have almost finished all their games (1 left), and some of the players want to join other clans now. Is that allowed or not?

We judge from case to case when a player requests a transfer. That's in some way limited to how many percent he have played, and in which time frame, yes. If he plays almost all his games in a third of a season in one clan (= 1 season) and then want's to jump to another we think it's out of bounds. |

To all the guys whining at the admins: Yes, they could be slightly more polite and respectful towards you, but you have to remember... THEY are the ones doing a lot of work for YOU! If you want to be treated with respect you should be _always_ be courteous towards them to start with. (If you put in a lot of work to help someone and he started calling you names and throwing abuse as soon as you did something in a way he didn't like, wouldn't you tend to remember that and be less willing to help him/be respectful in the future) If this was something you paid for then you'd have every right to complain, but it's not, so it is (and should be) completely on the terms of the admins. Be grateful they are still willing to run this league despite having to put up with all this immature abuse. |

i might sound whiny, but znappe and link has a point here. It should be a case to case rule. BUT there has to be some guidelines, last year i played alot with a clan, then i moved over to HGC at the start of playoffs, that was no problem at all, and that was a bigger deal than this transfer is. And yes the NQR admins puts down alot of effort in getting this league good, and yes it is good, but it can be much better, but the way i see it, is that the admins are like 0 responsive to new stuff, for example, a voting where every player has a username/password, and they vote in a poll for something, that would be very good imo, but hey im a DEMOCRATIC ONE AI? |

I just read the entire bloat of messages above and I seriously propose that the NQR considering something along the lines of the following: PLAYER TRANSFERS ---------------------- 1) A player must remain in the clan he signed up with at the commencement of week 1 of the season, if he has played 1 or more matches with that clan. 2) A player may transfer to another clan in the same division as his existing clan if he has played 0 matches. 3) Player transfers that are permitted by 2) yet result in the player moving from one division to another will be allowed/disallowed by a NQR admin vote. 4) A player may only participate once in any particular season of the NQR. ------- Numbers of matches played before no transfers and gender descrimination aside, I recommend something like that be put in place. Just my 2 cence. |

Actually the real problem here isn't player transfers. The real problem is players playing in several clans, QW-scene isn't really as big as this seasons turnout would make you believe. I know many players who are faking in one or two clans with "just for fun" mentality. Too bad we can't get rid of this problem before we get rid of divisions. Everyone just wants to have fun and play in lower divisions than they should. so everyone who wants to "transfer" to another clan, just change your nick. Every clan can add 2 players to their roster after nqr started... (defuzzified: just fake it like everyone else, it's not like you haven't done it before) Keep The Dream Alive |
