E1M2 - The Castle of the Damned

221-133

Reports
(gaz) With our starplayer and captain Petter Lakso (c) back from holiday in Florida, he was quick to order us about and tell us our lineup for each map. As I had to go out approx. 1 hour after game start, and I was in the E1M2 lineup, we started on what turned out to be Castle of Osams. Seriously, this is perhaps the best we've played in a competitive game no this map. We got entrenched in YA/GL early on and made it really hard for them to get into the game. Manny & I did the dirty work by camping YA and flooding Epic's RL guys while Petter and Benny shared the majority of the quad running. Epic didn't play as aggressive as I thought they would and that helped us stay fresh between quads. - by osams

DM2 - Claustrophobopolis

267-112

Reports
(gaz) This was insane. Epic flooded like crazy and made it really hard for us to completely settle into it. After 12 mins or so I was sure that the scores were fairly even, cos it felt like our control of water/tele was being knocked away all the time. Somehow, we were leading by 100 frags and I think it was partly down to great low RL timing and stealing by Petter. Occasionally we fully locked it down but they were always causing us a few problems at high RL. We were able to win by so much due to great quad running and good pressure at low. *saknizzen tyrone@tele* - by osams

DM3 - The Abandoned Base

274-49

Reports
(gaz) I didn't see most of this, cos like I said I had to go out. Anyway, Manny got pent, Benny got LG and Harsi got RL. Benny killed Harsi and that left Manny to stylishly move to 2nd quad and help us get a foothold at RA. It was the usual scrappy stuff for a few minutes as both teams tussled over the RA, but when I left after 4 mins we were just starting to kick into the routine, and it looks like we did a great job. So, like CMF we've made the final without losing a map. Wunderbar will prove to be a bigger test than Epic I think, but these Epic chaps are really very friendly and I would love the chance to prac them some time soon <3 GGs och kram, spread the love vibration \o/ - by osams

Yeah, about that dm3. Xerial obviously kept the YA pretty secure and took almost all RLs in the process too. So we could't get any RLs that point and lost pretty big.

As for the other maps, it wasn't our day and Osams were that much better. Congrats on your victory.

(P.S. prac with us?:))) I'd like to see that day Epic pracced like in the beginning of NQR since we're mostly idle nowadays)

Idling is based on few things.

- Harsi goes to work on very different city where he lives and he doesn't have network connection there.

- We lost our most active player Blasta some time ago.

- Vert is lagging pretty bad almost everyday (50ms+, 20%+ pl)

- Smeden only plays on weekends

- Fucu hasn't been too active lately.

So only 3 players of our roster would be able to play, and not all the time of course since we have our lives... or something like that :D
